CELEBRATE ORKNEY - ST MAGNUS DAY ON 16TH APRIL 2015!
Orkney's flag was registered on April 10th 2007. The flag was the winning design by Duncan Tullock from Birsay, in a competition organised by the local council and reflects the Islands Scandinavian heritage.
The flag has a red background with an offset yellow cross. The blue represents the sea that surrounds the islands and also being the main colour of Scotland's flag.
