The flag of Huntingdonshire was created by the Huntingdonshire Society, basing the design from the County's coat of arms, and registered with The Flag Institute on 25th June 2009.
25th April was chosen as the official day as it is the birth date of Oliver Cromwell who was born in Huntingdon in 1599. It is a day for the people of Huntingdon to celebrate Huntingdon's past, present and future.
