Gay Pride Events Calendar - September 2016

TOTNES PRIDE – 3rd September 2016.  Parade meeting for 11am at The Dartmouth Inn, starting at 11.30am to the Civic Hall. The parade will be led by the Samba Roc Band. The event will continue from midday to 4.30pm at Civic Hall. FREE entry. Variety of community stands, food stalls, craft area, family area. After party at Civic Hall from 7pm to midnight. Over 18’s only.

HERTS PRIDE -  3rd September 2016, Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempstead 11am to 10pm. Market Zone plus a Health & Wellbeing Marquee. Live acts and entertainment.

READING PRIDE – 3rd September 2016. The 13th Reading Pride takes place at Kings Meadow from 11.30am to 7pm. The parade travels through the centre of Reading to Kings Meadow to start the festival at 12 noon. Stalls and entertainment.

 BARNSLEY PRIDE – 4th September 2016 from 4pm. Held at Wildcats on Wellington Street with entertainment from drag acts, singers, tribute acts, DJs and lots more.

CHANNEL ISLANDS PRIDE – 10-17 th  September 2016. St Peter Port in Guernsey & St Helier in Jersey. The first official pan-Channel Islands Pride celebrations! The week long Pride event begins in Guernsey on the 10th September with a parade through the town centre. A week of festivities and educational events will follow ending with a parade in Jersey on the 17th September along with live music and entertainment.

CUMBRIA PRIDE – 17th September 2016.  12 noon to 6.30pm in Carlisle city centre. Headline act is Whigfield (Saturday Night). FREE entertainment, variety of stalls and a Bar all available.

BOLTON PRIDE –  23 -25  September 2016. Three days of celebrating the LGBT community. Day One – Bi Visibility Day from 10am to 12pm in Victoria Square. Join Bolton FM and a host of stalls in the Square. Day Two – Bolton Pride Parade. Day Three – Community Expo and Bolton Pride Vigil.

PRESTON PRIDE – 24th September 2016. Preston Flagmarket, city centre. The 5th annual LGBT celebration for Preston. Starts from 10.30am with main stage opening at 12 noon. FREE family friendly festival.

LINCOLN PRIDE – 24th September 2016.  City Square, Lincoln. From 11am onwards. There will be a wide variety of stalls and live entertainment throughout the day for all the family.

CHESTER PRIDE – 1st October 2016. Castle Square. FREE event. A parade will take place through the heart of Chester at 12 noon followed by entertainment on the M&S Bank stage in Castle Square.

UK LEATHER PRIDE – 7th October 2016. Old Market Quarter, Bristol 5pm to midnight. Combining socials, workshops, retail and dining, the Pride event is designed to give Leathermen a great weekend. Catch up with leather buddies or make new friends from far and wide!
