The Culpepper flag represented a group of about one hundred minutemen from Culpepper, Virginia. The group formed part of Colonel Patrick Henry's First Virginia Regiment of 1775. Their unusual dress alarmed the people as they marched through the country. They had the words "LIBERTY OR DEATH", in large white letters on the breast of their hunting shirts. Bucks' tails were worn in their hats and tomahawks and scalping knives in their belts.
This great value Culpepper flag measures 5ft x 3ft and is printed onto quality polyester in bold, clear colours and designs. It comes finished as standard with 2 metal grommets/eyelets for hanging on a flagpole.
