ALASKA FLAG

Alaska flag available to buy online at the Flag Shop. The Alaska state flag measures five feet by three feet, 152cm x 91cm, with two eyelets for hanging. Alaska’s flag is printed with vivid colours onto quality polyester.

The Alaskan flag was adopted on May 2nd, 1927, and was the winning design in a flag contest. The stars on the flag of Alaska are the constellation, “the great bear", and the star in the top right is polaris, the North Star. The blue on Alaska flags represents the evening sky, the sea and the mountain lakes of Alaska.
